The 2005 Ferrari F430 signals the arrival of a brand new generation of Ferrari 8-cylinder models. This new car takes Ferrari’s extraordinary achievements with aluminium technology, begun with the 360 Modena, to a whole new level, and offers a series of extremely significant innovations directly derived from the Ferrari Formula 1 single-seaters.

The 2005 F430 is powered by an all new 490-horsepower 90-degree 4.3-liter V8 engine. The engine is very light and compact and produces an incredible 114 horsepower per liter.
A Formula One-style gearbox is used, reducing gear shift times to as fast as .15 seconds. Performance figures from Ferrari promise acceleration from 0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds with a top speed of over 196 mph.
Two technical innovations that come directly from the Ferrari Formula One cars will be offered for the first time ever on a production Ferrari. They are an E-Diff electronic differential, and a steering-wheel-mounted switch that controls the integrated systems managing vehicle dynamics. This Ferrari supercar produces some awsome specifications…
