Thanks to JMH Automotive’s racing arm, we now have a quality backup plan if Santa Claus, our friends or loved ones are unable to deliver one of the Petersen / White Lightning Porsches to the pit area this Christmas.

The JMH crew has acquired a GT3-spec Ferrari F430 for the 2007 BGTC season, and as such, their ‘03 Ferrari 360 GTC has been offered to the general public on eBay, where most cool cars are being sold these days.

The car’s new owner will have a ready-to-race machine that can be used in the upcoming British GT season or the Britcar championship.The Ferrari’s 2005-2006 race history can be found at AdamWilcox.com on the “GT” page.

The 2008 Ferrari F430 Challenge Stradale is a high-performance F430 derived from Ferrari’s F430 Challenge series racecar. Compared to the standard F430 coupe, the Stradale features a more aggressive suspension, revised transmission, carbon-fiber interior trim and lightweight wheels — all of which are designed to give the Stradale a harder edge than the standard F430 coupe.

According to our spies, the F430 Challenge Stradale will get a 30-horsepower boost over the standard model. This would be different from the race setup, as the official Challenge Series racecars use the same 483-hp V8 as the standard coupe. Regardless of its horsepower rating, we expect the street car to get the same F1 semiautomatic gearbox as its track-ready cousin.
