Anyone who is a true motorcycle enthusiast will recognize the name Arlen Ness. He is one of the biggest legends in the world of motorcycles who started off as a simple guy who only painted bikes on the weekend as a side job. Slowly he began to learn all that he could about them and he built up a reputation that enabled him to create an even bigger business.
Not only does he sell parts – but he has also created some of his own unique bikes – which have now been given the esteem title of ‘classics’. Many of his popular bikes include the “Smooth-Ness†– which was inspired by Bugatti and the twin supercharged “Ferrari-Bikeâ€.
Both of these bikes are some of Arlen’s favorites and they will be on display for everyone to see at the exhibit being held at the Motorcycle Hall of Fame in Pickerington, Ohio. The name of the exhibit has been appropriately named “Awesome-Nessâ€. The exhibit will begin July 24th and will be there till June of 2009.
