Ferrari – one of the best teams on the Formula 1 – is deciding whether or not they will continue to race. They have stated that if Formula switch to using standard engines for their racing series that they will leave the competition with no intent to return. And they aren’t the only ones considering this.
Toyota is also contemplating this very same thing although they aren’t as good at winning like Ferrari is. None of us can imagine why Formula 1 officials would dare to risk one of their best teams. As Ferrari enthusiasts we can’t imagine what it would be like if they were to leave the series.
Our hopes are that the FIA will rethink this decision and come up with a much better alternative. One that will appease both Ferrari and all of us fans of the series. Unfortunately all we can do now is wait and see what happens.
