Coachbuilt Ferrari F430 Spotted Without Camouflage

Fioravanti Ferrari F430The new Fioravanti Coachbuilt Ferrari F430 was seen running laps around the Fiorano test track. Naturally the Ferrari was undergoing certain test runs. We were surprised to see that it was outside without any camouflage covering the exterior.

The latest reports indicate that it is a one-off rebodied F430 custom made by Italian design house Fioravanti for what must be an incredibly wealthy customer. This follows similar creations from Pininfarina, Giugiaro and Zagato as well as the announcement of Ferrari’s program to offer discerning clients with custom models.

Ferrari: “Michael Schumacher Did Not Crash Prototype”

Michael Schumacher Next To Ferrari PrototypeReports were swirling around the internet that F1 champion Michael Schumacher crashed a new Ferrari prototype while testing it on the Nurburgring track. Ferrari released statements not long after the story was out telling people that he was not the one driving when it happened.

Raffaele de Simone - the factory’s road car test driver - was the one driving when the prototype crashed into the guardrail traveling at 250 km/h. The car has been described as a right-off though it does not seem to have been damaged too much.
